| When the party steals the [[Silver Pendant]] hanging from the wall in the treasury of Viper Manor, the wall flips and the party finds themselves trapped in the cages of Luccia's lab next door to the treasury. After a short dialogue sequence, Luccia opens the door of Serge and co.'s cage. When [[Kid]] asks why she saved the party, Lucia laughs and informs her and the rest of the party that they are mere guinea pigs for her experiments, at which points she sends two Neo-N-Bulbs to assault the party.

| After the battle, the party learns she simply wished to test how strong [[Serge]] and the rest of his party is, with her seeming to be pleased with the results of experiment, as the party proved to be much stronger than she anticipated. She then tells them to leave the Lab, not seeming to care that they stole the Silver Pendant from the neighboring room.
