This is first area [[Crono]] and his team visit after their first visit to the End of Time, which they must go through to get back to Guardia. All the shopkeepers charge an extremely large amount of money for their goods and services if the customer is human, often making them unaffordable. Sometimes, Medina inhabitants will try to attack Crono. In the town square, there is a statue of [[Magus]] (or Ozzie, depending on timeline changes) that Medina residents will worship, praying for the Day of Lavos. The inhabitants also talk of a monster that lives in a cave nearby that can only be killed by magic, often refering to how humans can no longer use magic. The Guru [[Melchior]] sets up his residence not far from the town. | |||
