== Norune Village ==
Norune Village was once a very happy and peaceful village. The main protagonist of the game Toan, as was stated earlier, lives in the village and was rasied there by his mother Renee. The Divine Beast Dran is the key feature to the village, and he resides in the dark and mysterious Divine Beast Cave.

In one of their many festivals, Norune Village members were gathering around a large bonfire dancing. All of a sudden things went in to complete and utter chaos when the terrible Dark Genie was summoned by strange dancers and a man named Flagg. The genie then completely destroyed the village, leaving everything in complete ruins. During the Genie's attack one of the town's windmills was about to fall on Paige, Toan's best friend. Toan saved her but was knocked unconcious. In his dream he was visited by Simba, the Fairy King. Simba told him that he had sealed the town and it's inhabitants in Atla to protect them from the attack, but they were scattered inside the Divine Beast Cave. He gives Toan the Green Atlamillia and sets him off on his journey. Toan then visits the Mayor, who was the only other person who wasn't sealed in Atla. The Mayor gives Toan the key to the Cave and Toan traverses the Cave to restore the town, meeting Xiao and Seda along the way. After rebuilding the town Toan fights Dran, who was under the Genie's spell. Toan wins and Dran gives him a Map that lets him teleport to places marked on it. Toan then leaves to go to Matataki Village.

== Matataki Village ==
Toan then visits Treant, the guardian of the village, but discovers that with the river cut off from him he cannot move or speak. The Fairy King tells Toan that he sealed the town in Atla to protect it from the Genie, and so Toan ventured into the Wise Owl Forest to collect the pieces of the town and rebuild it, with his priority being to reconnect the river to Treant. After reconnecting the river, Treant gives Toan a rare sword that Toan uses to kill the Killer Snake, the beast that killed Goro's father Fudoh. Goro then joins Toan and Xiao after seeing a recorded message from his father. They then go on to finish rebuilding the village and defeat the possessed guardian of the forest, Master Utan. Utan thanks the gang and clears the way to Brownboo Village and the gang move on.

== Queens ==
The player obtains the character Ruby during the story, and can do many things with her there, as well. Queens is a merchants town, so there are not many residential buildings. Ironically, there is a King for the town Queens, gaining the title 'The King of Queens'. A river flows through the town and leads to the Queens Harbor, where the water is dumped into the ocean. The town also features a prison, a fortune teller and many, many stores.

== Muska Racka ==
Muska lacka is a desert town, and the fifth town visited by Toan. Just outside the town is the Sun/Moon Temple, which contains a ship capable of traveling to the moon. The character Ungaga can also be recruited here following the completion of events with the Three Sisters. Notable features include the Oasis, where the very rare fish Baron Garayan can be caught, and the totem tradition that Toan must follow when rebuilding the Georama. This tradition makes this one of the more restrictive Georamas, with the exception of the Sun Giant.

== Yellow Drops ==
Yellow Drops is the Yellow Moon of the Dark Cloud world. It is home to the Moon People, and the location of the Moon Factory, this town's Georama. However, instead of rebuilding the town, which did no suffer an attack from the Dark Genie, Toan must collect the pieces of the wrecked Sun Giant for the Moon People's inventor, Osmond. While the dominant building is the Moon Factory, there are also several other shops and buildings. The dungeon for this town is the Moon Sea.

== Dark Heaven Castle ==
Dark Heaven Castle is what could best be considered the base of the Dark Genie and Flagg, and is the final dungeon in the game's storyline. 400 years ago, the castle belonged to King Seda of The East. Scattered throughout the castle and time lie fragments of Seda's memory that give clues both to its and Seda's past. After Seda opens a way into the castle's past in Gallery of Time, Toan must journey back through time in order to change the past that gave the castle its present name. Sometime after his "revival", the Dark Genie presumably finds and raises the castle into the heavens. This is perhaps due to its historical significance, being the place where the Dark Genie was born of Seda's anguish over Sophia's death. At the entrance, the Fairy King starts selling items.

== Finally Home ==
After beating the game and watching all the credits, Toan and a re-catified Xiao travel back to the time of the Festival, the town now safe from attack.
