They are dressed in leaf skirts, and wear a necklace of skulls around their necks. Prehysterics also wield a tiki-patterned shield and a skull rod as their main form of equipment. They can only be found roaming the densely-forested trails of [[Gaea's Navel]]. Prehysterics can be trapped in the [[Forget-Me-Not Pot]] and added to the pool of [[Doppelgang]]s performed by [[Sprigg]].

| Prehysterics usually appear in twos or threes. They are also known to sometimes accompany [[PreyMantis]]es or [[Pterodact]]s into battle. Prehysterics attack by swinging their skull rods at their foes, which is capable of inflicting fairly heavy amounts of damage in the process. They are also able to utilize a unique tech of their own, which is that of [[JurasicBeat]]. JurasicBeat allows Prehysterics to perform a ritual of sorts to confuse selected targets, causing said targets to attack friend and foe alike. In short, Prehysterics may prove to be fairly formidable opponents, and as such, caution should be exercised when facing them in battle.
