==Name Origin==
The Japanese name refers to a 道着 dōgi, a dōgi being a Japanese term that refers to uniforms worn by practitioners of martial arts, such as karate, judo, aikido, taekwondo, etc.

This meaning was more or less retained in the old localization "Karate GI", but for some reason this was changed in the modern localization, despite the artwork rather plainly depicting a martial arts uniform.
