This accessory/headgear casts Auto-[[Confused]], Auto-[[Darkness]], and Auto-[[Afraid]] on the wearer, all of which are negative status effects.  It can be disassembled for 1 [[Denadorite]] and 10 [[Fur]] or sold for 9,310 [[G]].

*They're Ozzie's, so they have his name. Vinegar is Ozzie's name in the Japanese version of the game. Yes, "Pantsu" sounds like pants, but it nearly always refers to underwear. No wonder the side effects are so bad!

The sell price of this accessory (9,310 G) comes from the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_wordplay#Goroawase Goroawase] (a form of Japanese wordplay with numbers - see linked article for more details) for the Japanese adjective くさい ''kusai'', which means "stinky" (info sourced from page 242 of [[Chrono Cross Ultimania]]).
