I recently played through Chrono trigger and Final Fantasy VI.
This is when I noticed that the cave in Chrono Trigger (in 12000BC) that links the magic kingdom in the sky to the Earthbound people is called the Terra Cave. In FFVI Terra is the only character who can naturally use magic. Did anyone else notice this reference/connection?

:I did, if the Terra you're talking about is Terra Branford. However, her name was supposedly different in the Japanese version, so it could be a coincidence. There's also a connection to Final Fantasy VII's Jenova and Lavos: they both arrived in a meteor, left a large crater behind, both consume the planet's "life force"...there are other similarities, but I don't want to spoil FFVII for anybody. Not even with that most infamous of spoilers. Oops, I just did, didn't I.

I did, if the Terra you're talking about is Terra Branford. The.DreadnoughT 15:54, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply[reply]
