The Rainbow Shell lies in the deepest pit of the Giant's Claw; the caves | [[Toma]] knew the cave hoursed the legendary, but did not have a vessel to reach it or technology to lift it, due to its extreme weight. [[Crono]] and his party were more successful, though they battled the [[Rust Tyranno]] to reach it, as a part of [[The Rainbow Shell]] [[sidequest]]. Apparently, the [[Black Tyranno]] from the original cave survived and decayed into this new monster. Possibly, it was a machine at creation. The other denizens of this gloomy cavern appear to be strengthened or evolved forms of monsters fought in Prehistory, when the player traveld to Tyranno Cave to demolish the Reptites and avenge the destoryed [[Larubans|Laruba]] clan. | ||
