JurasicBeat (原始のリズム , Genshi no rizumu, lit. Primitive Rhythm?) is a Red Enemy Tech used by Prehysterics in Chrono Cross. This tech enables Prehysterics to chant a primitive song and perform ritualistic dance to confuse one of its enemies.
Description[edit | edit source]
The Prehysteric in question will start off by shaking its skull-staff and shield as it chants and twirls round and round to the sound of drums being beaten. Red-colored rings of energy form on the rings of the staff repeatedly as the Prehysteric performs its little ritual. It will finish off the move with a final shriek, whereupon the camera will shift its focus onto the foes. Red rings of energy are observed to swirl around an enemy's head momentarily before disappearing.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
The name of this tech, JurasicBeat, appears to be a misspelling of the phrase, Jurassic Beat.
