This template makes it easier to place an anchor in a link. Instead of typing [[Marle|{{A|Marle}}]] you only have to type {{LA|Marle}}. Instead of having to type [[Chrono Trigger (Item) |{{A|Chrono Trigger Item}}]] you only have to type in {{LA|Chrono Trigger (Item)|Chrono Trigger Item}}. If for whatever reason you need to use a link, a different anchor and a different pipe, there is a third parameter if needed.

If you want to use the standard {{SL}} colors in the correct circumstance, {{SLA}} is to be used. So if you want to link to Chrono Cross, you type {{SLA|Chrono Cross}}.

The L stands for link and the A stands for anchor, like used in {{A}}.
