The Promethean Mirror (アグニのかがみ Agni's Mirror?) is an accessory in Chrono Trigger (DS). It can only be equipped by Lucca. When equipped, Lucca will counter non-fire attacks 25% of the time. It is a tier 6 prize item from the Arena of the Ages.
Etymology[edit | edit source]
The English name of this mirror accessory comes from the Greek Titan Prometheus, who created humanity from clay and defied the Greek gods by stealing fire to form civilization.
The Japanese name of this item, "Agni's Mirror", instead references the Sanskrit word for "Fire", which is also the name for Vedic fire god Agni
