The Mudbeast (also known as Beast in the SNES/PS version) is an enemy in Chrono Trigger, found exclusively in the Mudbeast Den during Antiquity. It is notable for having the Rainbow Helm headgear in its possession, which can be charmed by using Ayla. This is the only way to acquire the Rainbow Helm in the original SNES/PS versions of Chrono Trigger.
