Man, I've been reading up on Chrono Break (or Chrono Brake) and it reads:

"...the European Union trademark is set to expire on December 14, 2011; and the Japanese trademark is set to expire on July 26, 2012."

From reading that, it would seem like they are still holding on the idea of releasing a game. I just don't understand the hold up. Apparently Square Enix receive tons of mails and e-mail to both Square Enix USA and Japan Headquarters. The only responds they seem to come up with is, "...there are a lot of politics involved." Most of the Dream Team seems to be on-board in making the game, or Chrono Trigger Sequel. Just the reception alone, Square should know it WILL MAKE MONEY! Chrono Trigger has recently been placed highly on six of multimedia website IGN's "top 100 games of all time" lists—4th in 2002, 6th in early 2005, 13th in late 2005, 2nd in 2006, 18th in 2007, and 2nd in 2008. And Chrono series being within top 10 Sequels in Demand. So it will make money! It's one of Squares smallest series... They can somehow release 14+ Final Fantasy, but Chrono can even get four. (To include RD).

But yeah, I'm rambling now, just makes me so mad.... I really want another Chrono game, damnit!!

I have a feeling this will come out eventually. It may not be under the same name, but Square just won't let Chrono die... would they??

I hate to say this, but I think Square Enix is slowly killing off Chrono. I really doubt another will be made. All they care about nowadays is Final Fantasy. I mean I like me FF, but after VII for me, it just got worst. X kind of picked it up, but ever since the merge... games are not what they used to be. Plus after all those Cease and Desist letters, a lot of fans (kind of myself included) really are not liking square Enix and actually boycotting them. I'm still a big Square fan.. a lot of game collection consist of Square and/or RPGs from other company. That is my genre, so I don't think I'll boycott Square... they still make good games, but just makes me mad they don't continue the Chrono series. According to many fans, Chrono Series is second in popular series behind Final Fantasy. So I'm just trying to find out why they are so scared to release a game that "WILL SELL".

Yes there should be Chrono Break. I agree with what you've both said. And do you want to know what Square Enix said when they asked for a Crono Break game?

"Why if you want a sequel, buy more!"

I'm I the only one sickened by that comment? Typical greedy Square Enix!Wikiguy 07:47, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, that's right!! How much money do you WANT!!? With how successful it is already.. and like I've said... Chrono Break will SELL and thus make money that they want so badly... but still a nasty comment indeed.
