Berserk (Status)

Berserk (バーサク, Berserk^?) is a Status Effect in Chrono Trigger. When inflicted on a party member, it causes them to auto-attack enemies and thus become uncontrollable, but increases physical damage by 1.5. It also prevents that character from being confused. Unlike most status effects in Chrono Trigger, Berserk is not entirely negative since it provides a large increases to physical damage. Equipping the Berserker Ring to a character allows that character to be in Berserk status at all times, which can be a powerful combination when applied to physical attack oriented characters like Ayla, but note that since they become uncontrollable, this prevents them from using Techs or Items.
