HeavenCalls (昇天 , Shōten, lit. Ascension to the Heavens?) is Pip's Level 7 Archangel tech in Chrono Cross. Upon learning this tech, Pip gains the ability to carry a selected target to the reaches of Heaven, before dropping it back to earth from said height, dealing fairly heavy damage in the process. As aforementioned, Pip will only learn this tech if he has been evolved to his Archangel final form. The innate color of this tech is either blue, green or white, depending on how Pip was evolved.

Pip will fly forward towards the target, leaving behind a trail of orange sparkles. Once he is right in front of the target, he will raise his right front paw, causing a tiny orb of blue flame to appear. This blue flame will then disappear, and this causes a pillar of blue light to rush up from the bottom of the target. This pillar of light will carry the target upwards, and while this happens, Pip will fly in small circles to guide the target into the sky. A white flash will engulf the screen momentarily, and as it disappears, Pip and the target are observed to have flown into the clouds, whereby rays of sunlight are shining down on the hapless target. The target will then be thrown down from the sky, whereupon it will burst into a purple flame before crashing heavily back onto the ground.
