*Learns Doppelgang, allowing her to transform in to a wide variety of monsters. This allows access to several Techs and Elements that are either rare or exclusive to these forms, all without having to equip Sprigg herself with any Elements. This also means that Sprigg technically has the most unique Techs of any character.
*Sprigg can Doppelgang as often as she wants to, which makes her the only character that can change her innate Element on the fly. Changing forms also removes status effects and resets her Element Grid.
*She is the only character that can capture enemies for use in Doppelgang and the [[Grand Slam]] tournament without having the [[Forget-Me-Not Pot]] accessory equipped. To capture enemies, she must simply deliver the finishing blow to an enemy in her normal, non-transformation state.

*Smallest Element Grid
*Smallest Element Grid, as well as underwhelming stats when not transformed.
*Learns only one Single Tech Skill
*Actually using Doppelgang takes time. It is a level 5 Tech, meaning Sprigg has to spend Stamina and turns to build up the Grid and more to transform. The Dreamer's set of accessories can mitigate this, but they take up an accessory slot and aren't easy to come by.
*Doppelganged monsters use their offensive and defensive stats instead of Sprigg's. This means that early transformations tend to fade in power rather quickly, as there is no way to increase the stats outside of buffs.
*The list of available transformations is strictly limited to the monsters you can face and catch at the time. Slash, Flea, and Ozzie, the best transformations, can only be obtained on a New Game+ file, and the bosses are the hardest standard battle for a New Game+ team to face, so defeating them leaves little to actually use the forms against.
*Learns only one Single Tech Skill by herself.
