Pierre is one of the three possible guides that Serge can accompany to Viper Manor. When Serge first meets Pierre in Termina, Pierre is residing in Karsh's old room at the Blacksmith Shop and is trying to become the Fourth Acacian Dragoon Deva after the death of Dario. Trying to (vainly) find a way to impress the Dragoon Devas and Viper, Pierre agrees to lead the party to the manor after Serge gives back the Hero's Medal obtained from a child running outside the shop. At this point in the game, Pierre genuinely believes that seemingly good looks will ultimately grant him the rank of a hero.
Throughout Serge's journey, Pierre begins to realize that there is more to being a hero than looking like one and learns this final truth after receiving the Prop Sword that Lynx/Serge obtains in the Dead Sea and Serge has his body back. Upon showing him the sword, he also obtains the SlapOfCyrus- his level 7 tech. Equipping him with the Prop Sword (his ultimate weapon) and the two Hero items, his in-combat stats are automatically boosted.
