Also note that immediately following this fight against him, he will chase the party to the library tower of Viper Manor, where he must be defeated a second time. The exact same strategy applies to this fight as the first one.

Guillot is a boss appearing in Chrono Cross. It is said to be the Porre army's ultimate weapon.

After defeating it, it chases Lynx into the Library, where he engages him in another fight. After beating it the second time, Grobyc steps in and helps take it down.

Despite being a boss, a Level Star is not gained for defeating him, presumably because Grobyc (Boss) provides one immediately before him.

Battle and Strategy[edit | edit source]

He is weak against magic attacks, but strong against physical attacks, so it is best to primarily use physical attacks to raise elemental levels before unleashing elemental attacks (preferably Green since he is especially weak to those). He uses physical attacks and HeatEdge to attack the party.

Note that there are two fights against this boss, which both come in immediate succession after the fight against Grobyc (Boss), and it is not possible to enter the menu in between any of these three battles. It is, however, possible to flee these fights to go into the menu if necessary. Both fights against this boss are identical.
