Glenn

Glenn is a character found in both Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross.

In Chrono Trigger, Glenn is the human form of Frog. He can be seen in the end of the game by killing Magus instead of allowing him to live. There is also a brief cutscene at the end of the game on the Playstation version.

In Chrono Cross Glenn is a knight and a playable character. The Glenn of Chrono Cross has no connections to the one from Chrono Trigger, but does with important plot characters. Glenn is the brother of the famed Dario and the son Garai. Glenn is a very unique character to the game in a number of ways such as the fact that he is the only character capable of wielding two weapons at the same time. In order to do this though, the player is required to have defeated Dario. The player must have the first Einlazer and then go to Dario's grave in Glenn's world. This will result in Glenn getting the second Einlazer and being able to wield two swords at the same time. He is also one of the few characters to actually be able to use a double tech ability, known as the X-Strike. The X-Strike can be used when Serge is able to use the Dash & Slash and Glenn may use the Dash & Gash. The three unique moves of Glenn are Dash & Gash, Sonic Sword, and Dive & Drive. Glenn's Dive & Drive is gotten when the party has 40 Stars. Glenn can be gotten in Cross in a confusing manner. First in Guldove, when presented with the option of getting the Hydra Humour for Kid, refuse. Return to Termina with Macha, and then head back to the usual entrance where you would normally enter. You will witness a conversation Glenn has with the flower lady. Now when you return to the boat Glenn will offer to join your party.
