The song first plays when Lucca rescues Crono from the Prison Towers, before his execution. The song plays again in Truce Canyon when Lucca explains the concept of Gates and the Gate Key. The song "Victory ~A Gift of Spring~" from Chrono Cross borrows elements of "Fanfare 1".
