Epoch

The Epoch is a vehicle that is used to travel through time in Chrono Trigger. It gotten from Belthasar, but it has no wings. Later on after getting kidnapped and taken on board the Blackbird, Dalton adds wings to the Epoch assuming it will be for his use. Dalton is defeated, and the Epoch is gotten back now with the ability to fly. The Epoch is able to travel to any time period, however if one attempts to go to 1999 AD via the Epoch, whether it has it's wings or not will differ what will happen. Either the team will run in on foot to face Lavos first form or they will crash into Lavos thus destroying the Epoch, but avoiding the first form entirely starting right at the second form.

In Chrono Cross one can still find the Epoch in the Dead Sea, dismantled and destroyed(assumably by the local monsters).
