The Neo-Epoch is a time machine constructed by Belthasar in the Future at Chronopolis. When the team has need to travel to a location where a Gate cannot reach, he gives them access to the hangar bay. Like the Temporal Dispatch Chamber, it can only go to pre-determined temporal coordinates that line up with the existing Gates, which themselves are also moving forward through time.
Connection to Chrono Cross
This is the same time machine that Belthasar takes back in time to the Present to oversee Project Kid, although it appears to have been modified into a single-seater. After his departure, the Time Crash occurs, preventing him from returning to Chronopolis. He leaves the Neo-Epoch in a secret laboratory beneath the library in Viper Manor.
Trivia
- This vehicle was originally called the Epoch II. Eventually, its appearance was changed to resemble the same time machine that Belthasar uses in Chrono Cross.
