This version has since been released for smartphones (iOS (release date: December 8, 2011) and Android (release date: October 29, 2012)) and Microsoft Windows via Steam (PC, release date: February 27, 2018), retaining most of the new features (such as dungeons and items) added to this version not present in the original SNES and Playstation versions, the new localization, etc. Some features remain DS exclusive however, such as the dual screen support. The initial release of the smartphone versions were also missing other features such as the FMV cutscenes, but these features were reintroduced in an update released on February 27, 2018 which was based on the Windows version.
