The Bomber is an enemy appearing in Chrono Cross. Found solely in the Earth Dragon Isle, they will only emerge when the Fossicker uses the BombsAway tech, whereupon a Bomber will be fished out of a pot and thrown at a selected target. The Bomber in question will then spend the rest of the battle switching targets at random. When all other enemies on the field have been defeated, the Bomber will have to be attacked a set number of times in order to force it to activate its SuicideBomb tech and end the battle. This thus makes Bombers fairly dangerous, as they are practically impossible to defeat by normal means.

When all other enemies on the field have been defeated, the Bomber will have to be attacked a set number of times in order to force it to activate its SuicideBomb tech and end the battle. This thus makes Bombers fairly dangerous, as they are practically impossible to defeat by normal means. However, if the Fossicker is the only foe present on the field, its pot may be attacked before it uses the BombsAway tech.
