| ==Battle and Strategy==

| Atropos is fought one-on-one with Robo. Because she is devoid of an Element, she does not have a predetermined weakness. Along this vein, she exploits many of the same [[tech]]s Robo uses in battle, such as [[Cure Beam]] and [[Robo Tackle]]. Most often, Atropos will cast [[Rocket Punch]] and heal using Cure Beam when her [[Hit Point]]s reach a critical low. It is advised that Robo use [[Robo Tackle]] and heal using Cure Beam every other turn, occasionally using [[Ether]]s when his [[Magic Point]]s run out. Using [[Mid-Tonic]]s or [[Full Tonic]]s are pleasantly alternatives to healing spells primarily to reserve MP for additional Robo Tackles or to heal for larger amounts, thus freeing up extra turns for physical strikes. All in all, the battle should run smoothly following the above tactic.

| Alternatively, instead of Robo Tackle, [[Uzzi Punch| Rapid-Fire Fist]] could be used, as to do more damage. However, this does lead to more MP usage. Atropos has lower Magical Defense than Physical, so [[Proximity Bomb]] and [[Electrocute]] should be used if unlocked at that point in the game.

| ==Etymology==

| Atropos is the oldest of the Three Fate Sisters in Greek Mythology. It was Atropos who chose the mechanism of death and ended the life of each mortal by cutting their thread with her "abhorred shears"; Atropine is a medication used to treat heart problems; XR is Rx backwards, the symbol for pharmaceuticals; and "Atrophy" is a word used to describe auto-deterioration. All of these hint that Atropos XR and Robo suffered an ill fate, where love and death were the fulcrum.
